S&P 500 futures fell on Friday as investors look to Friday ’ s key jobs report for further clues about the state of the U.S. economy.

At 07:41 a.m. ET, Futures tied to the broad market index were down 0.6%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures dropped 155 points, or 0.4%. Nasdaq 100 futures slid 1.1%.

Pre-Market Movers

Broadcom was down 7.6% in premarket trading after its earnings report late Thursday, as the chip maker gave a disappointing outlook for its October quarter.

NVIDIA Corp was falling 1.3% in the premarket, as the chip maker continues to endure a tough week that included a 9.5% decline Tuesday, which wiped out a $279 billion in market value — the largest one-day market cap loss for any U.S. company on record.

Tesla Motors was dropping 0.9% in premarket trading. The electric-vehicle maker looks set to give back some of its gains from the 4.9% rise the previous day as announced plans to roll out what it calls full self-driving assistance software in Europe and China next year if regulators sign off.

Guidewire was rising 7.7% in premarket trading after reporting fourth-quarter earnings that topped views with the insurance underwriting software maker guiding higher for its current quarter.

UiPath was rising 8% after the software company raised its full-year outlook after beating analysts ’ expectations for revenue in the fiscal second quarter and authorized a share-repurchase program.

Planet Labs Pbc was falling 10% in the premarket after it reported a second-quarter net loss of $38.7 million, compared with a loss of $38.0 million in the same period the previous year.

Faraday Future Stock Jumps on $30M New Financing

Shares of Faraday Future jumped 24% premarket on Friday after the electric vehicle company said it secured $30 million in financing commitments from investors to drive growth and new business opportunities.

The new financing commitment includes a previously funded $7.50M and $22.50M of new investment in the form of convertible notes and warrants to acquire additional shares of the company ’ s common stock.

The conversion price for the convertible notes and exercise price for the warrants, are $5.24 and $6.29 per share, respectively.

Qualcomm Has Explored Buying Pieces of Intel Chip Design Business

Qualcomm has explored the possibility of acquiring portions of Intel's design business to boost the company's product portfolio, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

The mobile chipmaker has examined acquiring different pieces of Intel, which is struggling to generate cash and looking to shed business units and sell off other assets, the people said.

Google Abusing Power over Website Ads, UK Regulator Says

Britain's antitrust regulator said on Friday it had provisionally found Alphabet's Google had abused its dominant position in digital advertising to restrict competition.

The Competition and Markets Authority ( CMA ) said it believed Google was using anti-competitive practices in open display ad tech through the preference of its own ad exchange, which could be harming thousands of British publishers and advertisers.
