This rebranding underpins Chery ’ s global strategic upgrade. Coined from "Excellence, Lantern, Apex", Exlantix is EU-registered to avoid trademark conflicts and enhance global visibility. Spain is selected as the brand ’ s first European market thanks to local consumers ’ low range anxiety and high acceptance of fast charging, with 89% of household users comfortable with a 350km+ single-charge commute range. Chery adopts a "one brand, dual naming" strategy, keeping the Chinese "Xingtu ( Exeed ) " brand for the Asia-Pacific market for differentiated positioning.

Built on Chery ’ s self-developed E0X 800V silicon carbide electric drive platform, Exlantix features flagship 5C ultra-fast charging. The rear-wheel-drive ES charges 30% – 80% in 9 minutes ( 705km CLTC ) , and the four-wheel-drive version hits 80% charge in 15 minutes ( 710km CLTC ) . Real-world tests confirm a 515km range boost in 10 minutes, outperforming Tesla V3 superchargers ’ 250km/15min output. A partnership with Iberdrola delivers over 98% charging pile compatibility, with 50 ultra-fast stations active along the Madrid-Barcelona highway.

Exlantix ’ s lineup covers key premium segments: the ES pure electric sedan, lidar-equipped MX extended-range SUV, and ET9 six-seat flagship SUV. Fitted with the Horizon Robotics Journey 6P chip ( 560 TOPS ) and factory-installed lidar, the MX complies with EU UN-R157 L3 autonomous driving regulations.
